International Photography Awards – Michael Creagh Awarded Honorable Mention 2009
For the second year in a row, I was awarded an Honorable Mention in the (IPA) International Photography Awards. I am very happy as it is huge competition. I think this year had 18,000 entries from 104 countries. My entry is my favorite photo from a magazine story I did for Noise Magazine. Michell Coursey (http://www.michellecoursey.com/) did the cool Makeup and Keith S. Washington was the fashion stylist. The model was Jennifer M from Next.
Congratulations to my studio mate, Nevil Dwek who got an Honorable Mention in the Beauty and Fashion category.
The photo was taken in Brooklyn, NY. I used my Hasselblad H3D 39megapixel camera with a 120mm Macro lens. F5.6 1/180sec at ISO 50. Profoto Lighting.

Here is the whole series that ran as cover story in Noise Magazine.
